THE PROBLEM WORTH SOLVING
Energy price volatility has increased significantly during the last couple of years. For industry buyers, electricity prices can be up to 30 % of the cost base. UPM Energy wanted to build a platform to tackle this.
The customer team had a lot of experience with the business side but was lacking knowledge of data architecture and a technical PO to look after the platform and its development.

OUR SOLUTION
Recordly introduced a Lead Architect role to take ownership of the overall platform architecture. He provided technical expertise and knowledge becoming the go-to person for overall technical issues.
The Lead Architect conducted a current state analysis of the platform and created a future-proof to-be state. In conjunction with the architecture work, the lead architect also created and documented threat modeling, development guidelines, and API strategy for the platform.
